Dallas Hospitality Jobs Keep Traveler Costs Low

Those with Dallas hospitality jobs (http://benchmarkinwestlake.com) are doing a good job at keeping costs low for travelers.

TripAdvisor recently released its yearly TripIndex, which is meant to help travelers pinpoint destinations where they’ll get the best value. The report compares 50 top tourist cities throughout the world, including 15 cities in the U.S.

Dallas is ranked as the second-best destination in the U.S., with a TripIndex of $210. The rankings are based on a projected total cost, which includes one night at a four-star hotel, a core food item, an alcoholic drink, and a taxi ride.

Las Vegas is the cheapest U.S. city, with a total TripIndex of only $164, while Bangkok is the best-value city nationwide, with a TripIndex of $112. Conversely, New York’s TripIndex of $367 is the costliest in the U.S., while the $429 TripIndex in Paris makes it the most expensive city in the nation.

The 15 U.S. cities, based on total TripIndex, are ranked as follows:
